Default what is "the rail system" engine mounts

thought i seen it mentioned a time or 2 when i was doing obscure searches
guys talking about the rail system engine mounts to move the engines(s) forward and back

It's a system where aluminum angle is mounted to the stringers (if you have them) and then front and rear motor plates are fabricated and they sit on the angle, or "rails".

where do i find them, or are they all "1 off" fabricated stuff
nice pic thanks

whats the level of difficulty concerning alignment versus front and rear offshore plates

damn i keep editing whats that under the driveshaft

Most of this stuff is one off but not real difficult.
What you see under the drive shaft is the intake for the jet drive. Yes, that's a jet boat.

some stuff here to check out. its not just limited to the drag stuff ,any skater or similar cat is set up this way with some variations. but for the most part you'll be using rails with a jackshaft of some sort, stern drive or otherwise. offshore mounts are similar, with or without a midplate, but mount to the stringers in such a way to compensate for drive alighnment.
