i Have done the swap put shift mech on transom need new bolts 496 are metric and the power steering hose on mine hit i corrected it by using a shorter belt to move it out of the way but sounded great only thing i notice is those look like the tall risers made for boats with the extension blocks between the manifolds and riser on a stock 454

i put them on my 454. i was moving my shift mechanism to the transom at the same time to clean up the motor. i also had to clearance them for the alternator or the power steering pump i cant remember which right now. but i just shaved them down with a flappy wheel on a grinder. the oil filter needed relocating, i moved it to the back of the head. the bolt pattern was the same but i did have to get different bolts i, my factory ones would not work. i used graphite autostore gaskets and never had a problem.

If you have room to make the risers work, then these are the ticket.
On my set-up, I ran a 3/8 bit through each bolt hole to make sure all of the bolts ran through fine. They bolt to the BBC head with no issues.
I had the version with the water rail, and could not make them work without a low-mount alternator/power-steering bracket. These would have solved my problem. I ended up going with Stainless Marine.
The risers look plenty tall so expect to do some messing to get the tips lined up. The biggest issue with these manifolds is that when mounted on a standard BBC, they end up being a bit wider than the transom tip cut-outs, though there's enough room to make them work (thank goodness for rubber exhaust hose).
