Default 500EFI starts to fall flat after 2500rpm -Anybody?

500EFI doesn't track with the other motor. It idles ok but when going to get on plain, it starts to fall above 2500 rpm and doesn't keep up with the other motor.
Motors were renewed about 30 hrs ago. ??

pull the plugs and have a look at them.hopefully they'll tell a story.otherwise, basics, fuel filter,/pressure,cap rotor.after that,it starts to get expensive to fix.then fuel injectors need to be looked at.compression test/leak down

It started about 3 weeks ago and was intermitten. then the next time out it was a little worse. Everything except fuel pumps and injectors were replaced. The ill motor is lagging about 400-600 rpm behind the other at WOT. Im thinking fuel pump? Anyone else think this?

Anybody know what the difference is between the 500EFI and the 525EFI stock fuel pump besides part number and price? They use the same size O rings and look the same in the schematic.

I think Im on the right path - I pulled out the injectors and found that #3 & #5 look partially clogged. The others had some debris but not as bad. Did an ohm and fire test, all within 12.4-12.9 ohms and they seemed to click when 12v was put to them. I'm going to pull the ones out of the other motor and take them all to be professionally checked for spray pattern and thoroughly cleaned.
