Default 500efi with blower shop 250s

Hey guys just wondering your thoughts on putting blower shop 250 kits on my 500efi motors and going to single dominators. I have a line on a cheap set of brand new blower shop 250 kits. Just wondering what are your thoughts and what all it will require for the swap. Thanks

It will work. I'd sell of the single dominators, and go with dual carb setup on it personally .

What about wiring wise. Could I use the original 500efi harness less a few things

Sell the 500 efi's complete and use the money to buy an engine set up for supercharger.

Tough call there, 500efis are still pretty desirable. Fuel injection is nice but the motors really are not all that special. BS 250s are nice blowers, dual carbs might be nice for fuel distribution but single doms are simpler. How big are the Doms?

1250cfm quick fuel, I've tried putting my motors up for sale and can't seem to give them away and they are spotless low hour fresh water motors with ecms tuned by mark boos. So I guess I'll just make them the power level I want for a cheap price of the blower setups I can buy.

What specifically are you asking? the kits will work on them. The 500EFI , in long block form, is a basic 502 chevy engine. It has forged components, and will work fine with a supercharger. The cam leaves a little to be desired but will still work just fine.

Just would like to here real world experience doing this. Or would just doing Heads and better cams be a better route. Boat is running 95mph with stock 500efis so the 100+ mark is the goal.
