Check spring pressure should be around 20psi less than new spec. Springs typically drop 20psi then set in and keep that pressure. If its 40-50psi or more less than the new spec I would change cams your lobes are killing the valvetrain

Progress is good. Now time to pick springs and figure out the cam.

not yet, I sent cams I figure when cam time comes (soon) we will talk and see, going to run numbers by a handful of MARINE guys, a buddy is talking to Teague also gonna try to get his input too..

Looks like it was flowed on a 4.31 bore fixture. Is that what you where looking for ? Your bore is much biggerer.

Would have been nice to see what they flowed stock, then ported.

Thats with a pipe on the exhaust, so keep that in mind when comparing flow numbers to other heads. Most are not flowed with a pipe, and will show less cfm without the pipe attached
