Default Oil pressure sending unit mounting orientation

Hello all.
Wondering if there is anything wrong with mounting an oil pressure transducer at a downward angle like this.

mercury marine does it,hp500 efi it is mounter up side down.you must be an engineer!

Just changed one on a 2008 Hemi . They are mounted upside down like that
