What psi does the 4.75" pulley provide?

With 8.75 static compression it looks like 7lbs if I'm reading Teague's previous post correctly.

I finally had the boat out in Havasu on Desert Storm Weekend. First of all the Stage 1 Whipple Upgrade is night and day!! Like having a new boat. Teague did an awesome job... Clean install cant be happier with the results. The boat sounds aggressive, runs great lots of thrust!!! Mid range is incredible. Top speed was in the 80 MPH range. Didn't open up for very long... the conditions on the water were rough. Had a lot of wind, choppy water. I wasn't sure what to expect so I was taking it easy. I'm going back out on Memorial Weekend hoping to have great weather/ good water. Anyone looking for more power ... this is the way to go. Going to be prop testing this next trip. Looking for some advice on props. I'm running a Maximus 15.250 x 30pitch 5 blade Prop. Any recommendations on other props I should try. Let me know what you think.

I didn't have much luck with the Maximus prop on our 26 AO. We're running a 34 pitch Bravo 1 prop now. I would recommend trying some Bravo 1 props (find the correct pitch for your boat). They are relatively inexpensive and seem to work well on single engine cats. Congrats on the new power!

I would call Bblades and ask them about what they can do to your Maximus to improve performance. I think a stock 30 Maximus may not be enough prop. Are you at the right RPM at full throttle? Make sure you have mid range RPM info and speed, top end RPM's and speed so they have the data they need. I can tell you on a V hull, a Maximus prop is stern lifting, which can adversely affect handling at high speed. Perhaps not so much on a cat.

The Maximus will give you better mid range at the same RPM, but probably a little less top end than a Bravo.

I'm told a 34 Bravo is not an efficient prop and that a labbed 32 may be a better option. Again, call Bblades for professional advise.

Glad to hear you've had the success you were looking for.

Our boat loves the 34. We tried a 32 Maximus, 30 B1 labbed, 32 B1 labbed, 32 B1 non labbed and 34 non labbed. The 34 non labbed gives us the best overall performance. Pulls skiers and will do over a 100. I think every boat is different and you need to find the correct prop for your style of boating.

Did you upgrade the drive ? With that much power and a Maximus prop you WILL break the stock Bravo drive ...
