I'm sure we could have hit 700HP if we were shooting for a "dyno" number.
Turn down the oil PSI, bump up the timing and dial up the crankcase vacuum and I bet we would have pulled 700.

Brodix bb2 plus heads. Ported and CNC chambers.

How come it starts real rich and leans up the whole way. Mid 13s is a little on the lean side like close to melting pistons isn't it?

The AFR was derived using an air flow meter and a fuel flow meter. No O2 sensors, so the AFR is somewhat suspect. We pulled plugs after a couple different pulls and they looked good (strap and porcelain).
We called dale cubic who does our carbs and the decision was made to leave the carb be until we can fine tune it in the boat with an O2 sensor in each header.

Not somewhat suspect. This method never works even for semi-close A/F numbers.
