Prochargers get pretty hot, they never sold a non innercooled kit that i know of so i would think unless your running on alcohol it would be a must.

As far as hp they will support, turning a m-3sc about 10% past its max rpm rating i made 1100hp at one point, i a drag car they turn head units much harder but its only for a few seconds at a time.
