B&M250's
So this is what I have
454 forged internals
Clay smith cam
Hp500 heads
8-3/4 comprsssion
Running 5lbs booste
Single 1050 dominator carb
Dynod 5400 608hp
"No intercoolers-no room for it"
Trying to get more hp out of this set up
Can I safley up the booste to 7-8? If so roughly what kind Hp difference?
Taking off the 1050 and adding dual 750's make a big hp change?
How about taking my 1050 and putting a larger body on it for air?
Any safe hp gains to say going to a 420 or an 871 blower?

More cubs and bigger blower. Send the dominators to Dean Nickerson in Bristol PA and let him work his magic. I my experiance you do not want dual carbs.

Best move I ever made was getting rid of my single carb 250 blowers, and going to twin carb 420 B&M blowers on my 468's. Not only did they pick up a ton of power, they idled better too with twin carbs. I made more power with LESS boost with the 420's as well.
You don't need more cubes. I have been making 800+hp from my blown 468's the past 5 seasons, been on two different dyno's, so its not a dream o meter.
I've dealt with a few sets of blower application carbs from Nickerson. I wouldn't spend a dollar with that guy for carb work. They idled decent, and it pretty much ended there. If you like borderline rattling the rings at cruise speed, and a garden hose type fuel mixture at wot, he's your man.
