Default Pressure check valves for IC piping

I want to install a spring loaded check valve on my IC piping to keep water from flowing thru the IC during no wake zones. I found a stainless one on amazon. Open approx 5psi. Piping is 3/4" so Planned on going with a 1" or even a 1.25" to keep pressure loss at a minimum. Does anyone have anything to say about these types of valves? I cannot find a flow chart on them so I don't know what the loss is... thoughts? This one is the 5psi one. Made in 1" and 1.25". Also there is a brass one same sizes that opens at 2psi. I can either install before IC or after...

I'm curious if these would work as a pressure relief valve for water pressure? These are certainly a lot less than the $90 valves from CP, I'm just wondering how they would function.
