Transom leak ?
OK. Another gremlin here. 1994 Bravo I. Leaking when I put it in the water, right around, (not, but near) the driveshaft. Replaced bellows, shift rubber housing, still leaks. Seems to be leaking around or near the "Y" pipe connection to the transom. Original Merc set up. Is there a gasket or some coupling to the transom for the Y pipe? ( I can't get or see there) I don't need the Y pipe. I can just plug the whole thing. ? Thoughts?

Do you have a y pipe, or block-off plate? The block-offs rot out. The y-pipe can too, but less often. Shift cable boot too. might end up pulling engine and launching boat so you can see what's going on.

Hate to say it but pulling the engine and checking is probably going to be your best bet. If the transom is getting soft I have seen them leak in the area of the Y pipe connection even though it's not. Good luck!

Transom is not soft, shifting boot replaced, and yes I have Y pipe with Corsa captains call. Leaks when I put in water and there is water coming in when I get a hose and a lot of water volume around the transom sprayed around the bellows. Water coming in bellow the driveshaft, so I assume its a y pipe thing.

If your driveshaft bellows was leaking you would have issues with the gimble bearing due to lack of lubrication and rust. The other places are trim hose plate and water outlet on the inside of the transom assembly. I did one last year that had a leak were the outlet is bolted to the transom assembly (rotted from the inside out).

Another way to test is do it backwards. Park it on a boat ramp or some other fairly Steep Hill. Fire up a hose. Start filling the inside of the boat with the drain plug in. Lay down behind the boat and see where the water is coming out. Better with the drive off.
