I doubt that introducing fake compression into the cylinders is going to help, but keep us posted on the end result

no, he;s trying to free up stuck rings. sounds like he is having some success.

Is it a remote possibility you had a little reversion prior to sitting for 7 months? That makes a little sense. I like your Lucas idea especially after inspection. Every once in a blue moon we can get lucky.

Exactly the end goal here. I know that using additives for say radiator stop leak and what not is just a waist of time but if I pulled the motor apart to find a stuck ring then I'd be kicking myself in the ass for no at least trying this stuff first.

I need to get my CMI headers pressure tested before I put this thing in the water also. Like you said if water did get in there that could be an issue.

you don,t have stuck rings that can be fixed by pouring chit down the plug holes,pull the engine,take it apart and inspect all parts.have you done a leak down test?burnt pistons is my guess.sorry but it needs to be taken apart.

yeap...never seen compression in a can really cure much !
