Now I see what you mean. I checked the 87 near me. Flat deck with 2 hatches 1 on each side. So your hull is the first year of the hump down the center with the hatch molded to fit the hump. I also stumbled across your hatch. It's listed as 220 and 240. Means they did not change the length of the cutout for the two different hulls. I doubt they changed the Contour of that hump that hatch fits into. I would check back of the person selling the hatch and ask them to lay it on the table and measure the height in the front and in the back at the center. If they're the same you are most likely good to go. I believe they were a Baja dealer back then, and might be able to cross reference it against your year. Baja themselves may also be willing to check that.
