Spark Plugs

This is kind of different, but makes sense.
When Dean Nickerson built my carb, the method to use was:
@ 10 hrs-replace # 1 you can adjust the times,
@20 hrs- replace #2 based on your seasonal
@30 hrs- replace #3 total hours.
@40 hrs-replace #4
and0 so on. The theory behind this is you are checking the plugs & 'ergo (therefore) the fuel mixture every 10 hrs. If the ratio is good only replace one plug as they are good for longer than we normally leave then anyway. The result is in 80 hrs. you have replaced one set of plugs and checked the engine/fuel 8 times.
Pretty good arrangement if you as me . My .02 !
Dean also recommends the plugs listed above even in blown applications (low boost) !
