Postimage.org works. But easiest is to buy gold membership. Especially if you are gonna be posting pics regularky, like a restoration thread or something.

I've been using Flickr for free for 10 years and it has been great. I probably have over 500 pics of my Cobras, race cars, Harleys and other toys scattered across 5-6 forums I have frequented. It sucks to see so many threads here that used photobucket that are now void of the pics that were originally posted.
Once you have your pic uploaded and located on a hosting site, just copy the url for that pic, click the icon button on the "post" toolbar that looks like a mountain pic, and insert the url link to the pic in the popup. Offshore will grab the pic and render it into your post, like this:

Any paid membership allows you upload pics directly to OSO and the pics will stay on OSO forever.
If you host the pics on a photo sharing website you can link them, but as people recently found out, some of those sites started charging also and now their pics will not show up on OSO.
