fuel delivery
i am looking for some experience and feedback regarding fuel delivery systems . the application is a carbed whipple setup on a 540 cid (approx 800 hp)..current setup is holley blue to a holley regulator..the regulator is loud (rattling sound) and i see a pressure drop at high rpm ...
what is a better setup that will run all day and deliver the fuel necessary for this application..
thanks

One word.... Aeromotive....... A1000 & regulator along with 1/2 fuel pickups and lines all the way. It appears your problem is a flow problem maybe originating at the pickup and starving the pump causing aeration and a pressure drop. Do you return the fuel bypass to the tank or re-circulate it to the pump? If it is recirculated, the fuel can overheat and actually boil in the pump casing a loss of pressure also. Always return to the tank or at minimum an efficient fuel cooler. ..... and the 1/2 lines (AN-10).
Just my thoughts on this.....
