Boca Speed Rails ???
The theory sounds plausible, but has anyone from the board tried these? What was the cost vs benefit? It is an interesting concept......

I tried them. I didn't see any speed increase, but you could sure feel the boat riding higher. It also totally stopped a porpoising problem the boat had. Problem was, one ripped off before I could test them thoroughly. They were glued & screwed on. I've got 3 if you want 'em....

I have to admit that there was a motive behind my question.....
part of which is there are a lot of little "chunks" out of the strakes on this boat and I thought this might solve that problem and be a "dual" benefit...improved handling, speed and less gelcoat repair!! Nothing in life is free, but I may still try this. How much do these thing cost????

I can't remember exactly what I paid, it's been about 5 years ago. Seems like it was around $200. At least you don't have to worry about messing up your strakes...When mine came off I found the 5200 did not bond well to the aluminum. Probably if you roughed it up real good it would help.
