Standoff boxes on awesome cat?

has anyone put boxes on a awesome cat or chris cat that has speedmaster drives ?

did they help?

the prop shaft is about 2" above the bottom now

I am contemplating the EXACT same thing.
Don't know if you;ve talked to Melin540 yet, or not, but he did say that extension boxes on his 31' American Offshore really helped both speed and handling. Keep me informed as to what you find out.
