Drive alignment tool
Would someone please tell me which step of the alignment tool is in the gimbal bearing? When looking at the alignment tool there are 3 or 4 diameters or steps. The smallest goes into the coupler. Does the second or the third rest inside the gimbal bearing?
If it is the second that is in the gimbal, what is the 3rd or 4th diameter for?
Or another question would be what is the I.D. of the gimbal bearing.
p.s. this is for a Bravo drive
Thanks,
Rick

Follow this link to another OSO thread.
There's another link in that thread which leads you to two other links on alignment tools. They're worth looking at. Hope it helps.

Iggy,
Thanks alot. That was a helpful link.
According to the picture it looks like there are really only 2 diameters (steps) involved for the bravo. One for the coupler, the other for the gimbal bearing. I guess a third could be considered as a stop against the gimbal so you don't push it in too far.
Looks like the gimbal bearing ID is 1.374 and the coupler ID is 1.118.
