Default sea pump/ fuel pump question

I changed out the sea pump housing's and impeller's, it is a 1997 Baja 29 outlaw with twin 454 mag efi's, the older version that had the mechanical fuel pumps that bolt on the sea pump driven by the belt, my question is I had fuel come out of the vent? tube were the yellow clear line hooks to, their is also a fill/drain plug at the front of the sea pump, I unscrewed the plug and gas and oil came out, looks like my fuel pump is blown? and what kind of oil goes into the fuel pump drive housing there,do you add fluid till it leaks out then put the plug back in? thanks
Mark

i think there are two plugs 1 on bottom and one on side , on mine we pulled the pump off thinking the pump seized, but it just broke a old belt. so with it apart i filled w.40wt. motor oil.till it ran out.

thanks for the input, I posted this thread in the general discussion area, and it moved to the tech questions and answers. guess I will replace the fuel pumps and drain or suck the old fluid out,
