Default removable center bolster

anyone ever seen one? Id like to be able to add one for my daughter but then remove it when she's not along....the hard part would be fastening it down any ideas?

I would think that just something that you drop btwn your current set up would be good. Maybe there is a way to put some loops on the bolsters and some pins on the removable back so that you just lift it up and away. Then so that no one gets hurt on the loops you could have like a small piece that could drop in on each bolster to make sure no one got hurt on them. Hope I explained that well. I hav been looking at doing the same thing. It is a bummer when there is three people on the boat and the one person has to stand up in the back or sit in the back.

Audio my daughter is 16 months old so I need her where I can keep an eye on her. I think I'll build a complete bolster to fit her with 5 point belts and then put some threaded plates in the floor and use T-nuts to hold it down....I just hoped someone had done it already so I could learn from there mistakes!

I built one years ago for my 28 Cigarette (2 Cigs ago). We had angle stainless pieces on the existing seats (covered with vinyl) that an L shaped rod dropped down in.

Ironically, 24 Sonic's had a drop in center bolster in the late 70's and early 80's. So your manufacturer may have some info.

Some boaters rig attachment points in the floor for an automobile child car seat. Make sure you provide shade for the baby.
