I bought a 22' Pachanga with a Paxton setup that had water injection. Caroll Supercharging in NJ set it up. Pretty trick system....It had an 18 gallon tank for the windshield washer fluid and was activated via the knock sensor and an oil pressure sensor or vacuum sensor if I remember correctly. The nozzle blew directly down into the carb box...I still have all the wiring diagrams from the system if you're interested...

I used it in the mid 70's on my turbocharged truck. Helped supress detonation and also used it on my porsche 914 with high compression and lots of timing and again it supressed detionation. Workrd ok. Couple years ago tried on a supercharged corvette and I think that the combustion chambers were too small (compact) and the water droplets were banging into the spark plug side electrode and was bending it. Wierd. Stop the water and the plugs were ok again.
Useless today with o2 sensors, knock control, fuel injection and better tuning.
