Oil temp senders on Blue Motors

Does anybodyknow if the oil
temp senders installed in the
merc. "blue" motors are compatible
for gaffrig guages ?,
the merc manual says Stewart Warner
283-K, 284-K, 82308 or equivalent.
I am adding the guages, the seInders are
a real MARTHA FOKKER to reach, I don't want to
deal with them if I don't have to.

The Gaffrig guages are compatible... your dealer should know what ones to sell you...

Senders are already in the engines
from the factory, I'm installing the
gauges 2day.
I've already found the brown/ white
stripe sender wires in the harness,
guess i'll hook them up, and wait til
the ice is off the lake.
