Default JE Pistons compare to SRP (75F)Pistons

Got my 502 Gen 6 back from the workshop bored
0,30,the shop told me they have used JE pistons,
but inside the pistons it says SRP 75F.I need some
help here, what is the SRP 75F pistons? I`m not
familiar with that brand. Are they accepted for
use in a HP 500 EFI ? With a Procharger ? Thanks

SRP are an off the shelf piston built by JE. The JE's are usually custom built for your app. This is just what I have been told. They are cheaper to buy than the JE's.

SRP is the "economy" branch of JE. They are a very good piston, but are mass produced instead of on the JE line and are not quite as good material. They probably will live in your motor if you don't make too much boost. Price is considerably less than JE so I would see what I was charged and if you said "JE pistons", I would need to have a talk.
