Default Prop CUP

On 232-252-272 perf. Do you need cup?

Need more stearn lift or bow lift??

Prop will be worked by Darin...

I am making a big jump from a mirage 23 plus to a 25 non-plus

I figure the best bet would be :

Tinning the blades :+300 RPMs

Cutting diameter 1/8" : +150 rpms

On the other side : Adding some cup I figure -150 RPMS

That way, I guess I would still be running 4500 RPMS (same as my stock 23 plus)

Also Darin, I may try that SATTIN FINISH.

I also heard from diffuser ring job???

Any experiences or inputs to help me and Darin make dynamite out of that 25 mirage?

Seems like a lot of changes to me to make all at once. You may think about doing a few of those thing and NOT thin them out. There is a lot of missing info hear that makes it hard to know what to tell ya. For example. What are you running for a engine. What speeds are you seeing now. Does the Plus carry the bow? Do you think you need more bow lift?

Now you guys got me some worries... I tought it would be a perfect match considering all the inputs I got here on the board...
The Mirage + 23 handles great. All I want is more speed. Even if I have to get those tabs down on take offs... ;-) I am just doing a repeat of some jobs that worked great on other Bajas....Mirage 23 to 25, diameter down 1/8 to 1/4, cup, thining the blades...

Jean,
You will be in the ball park, I have done this before as well. Your engine has a wide WOT range so you should be ok. Just tell Darin your current WOT RPM with the MP and he can do the rest.

You'd think a frog would know what he needs for propulsion!

Mind you I had to learn I need gas!
