FuelSender - tube in tube install
Question. I've got a Livorsi tube/tube sender coming next week, to replace my float style. I notice that in the pics there is a 3rd lead. Any advanced comments on the hookup, or is it kinda straight forward.
(also..........if I'm hooking into a regular 33-240 gauge the boat had, are there any adjustments to be made)

You need a power and a ground and the sender wire. If you did not have them cut the thing to size for you make sure you cut it perfectly to the length that they recommend. The distance btwn the tank bottom and the bottom of the sender is what keeps the guage from bouncing. From there just read the directions as to how to set it up and you should be fine.

Jon.......Thanks. I've got the original red/black to the unit, so I'll just tap into something hot with ignition in the back. (thanks).
(Hey. Do you still have the 302?...........)

Audio. I put the new unit in today (actually the one that came out was a large tube style, and best I could see had a 1/2moon piece that rode up/down a flat surface inside) and last thing i did was tweak the FULL screw so the gauge would match how much i measured in the tank. (I put a wood dowel in there first and converted to gals).
Should that be it, or, will I also need any fine adjustments on the EMPTY screw?..............either way it looks to be a nicely built unit.
