Fuel Bypass Question
Do you really need a fuel bypass and if so where should it return. I used to run a seed pump and it was no problem to bypass my fuel but now i am running a cam driver water pump and the flow of water will go directly from my drive to my cooler which is no where close to my fuel system (pump) so running an inline fuel cooler for the bypass would be too far.
My questions is can I plug my fuel regulator bypass valve? will this harm the fuel pump by not having a bypass? Does anyone have this setup how do you manage your fuel.
I have enclosed a picture of the pump and mallory fuel regulator.
Thanks.

Most try to bypass back to the tank where ever possible some back to the water /fuel separator when the tank would be hard to get at. I don't know if you can go without the bypass it depends on your pump. It looks like an aeromotive, call them they are very helpful. They also have a pump electrical regulator system I am not sure what they call it but it regulates the voltage to the pump. This may work too.
