Default Turning Point Props ?? Yeh or Ney ??

Okay here we go. I have a 1990 240BR,460/King Cobra. It came to me with a Michigan 14-1/4 X 21 prop alum. Results 4200 rpm, 38 gps, 1/2 loaded and labored to get up to it. Now comes turning point interchangeable housings. Anyone using them? Should I start at 21 p? or try 19 p to get more out of the motor? Also at 3200 rpm she cruises nice and easy but falls off plane if I don't watch it. I have no idea what she will do fully loaded, not to good I assume. Anyone?

Maybe a good choice if you are worried about hitting things and destroying your drive. I have seen tests on the speed channel and you will loose some all around performance becasue of the amout of flex in the prop. I would think with a heavy boat you would want to stay away from that type of prop.

Default King Cobra /prop outdrives

The omc aluminum prop or the omc sst prop would be your better choice for a prop as well as power tech equlivant stainless./Darin
