Default Need manifolds for a 502 MPI

I borrowed a friends 26 ZX Donzi this morning and after abot 10 mins after I put it in the water (first splash of the season) it developed a skip opened the hatch and found the biggest chocolate milk mix I have ever seen shut it off and tried to restart and she was hydrolocked. go it back to the shop and pulled the plugs, some were wet (water) and several had the messy goo on them. The amopunt of water in the oil was mind boggling! Can a set of leaky manifolds generate this much water in the pan, the stuff was puking out of the dip stick.

Hopefully I can just through on a set of manifolds and risers.

Does anyone have a decent set of low use manifolds and risers for a 502 mag MPI???

Thanks in advance,
Kurt.

Default I can help you out...

I am in the process of setting up a Web site/mail order business for aftermarket marine engine parts. I can start with you as my first customer. New Big Block Mercruiser exhaust manifolds that are a direct replacement for your engine $149.95 each and exhaust elbows for $87.50 each.

Have several sets of mercruiser take offs. Some new some slightly used in fresh water. U can use your old elbows if there stainless but must absolutely use the Special gaskets from mercruiser. Also avoid overheating.
The problem with these elbows is they expand and contract at a different rate than the cast manifolds. This is probably why Merc got away from using them.(warranty issues) Even if you buy from elsewhere you can always call me at 516 971 3175 And I'll do my best to help.BBB

Biggus,
I have a set from a 96 502 Efi, freshwater use only that were removed at 160 hrs. They are just taking up space in my shop. You can have them for $50 and you cover freight. I can be reached at 334-657-4071.
