nose cone

I have a 260 velocity running in the mid to high 80's depending on conditions. I do not have a nose cone and was wanting some input on any results with one. Are they worth putting on what brands seem to give the best results. I would be crushed if I put one on and lost mph. Thanks for any help

I ran Hydomotives on mine. No real difference. Most likey won't hurt performance. At the speed your at they will probably be 0-2 mph gain.

I have one from Hardin marine that I never installed if interested let me know it's alot pointier than the hydromotive just the cone kit I didn't get the one with low h20 p/ups

If its an 88, 89 or early 90 Bravo 1 it will need a nose cone at that speed. If later, probably not.

I'd leave it as it is. I don't like the way they steer up top. cb
