Default Looking to switch back to N/A motors

My Procharged 502s run strong but are tempermental and run diff. speeds with changing weather and air conditions. I would really like a turn key set up. Since I have had this set up for 3 yrs. I know I will be unhappy with only the 502s N/A.

What route should I take? I am thinking of 540, or 572 shortblocks. The heads have been ported and had a valve job. My current 502s were bought as GM marine longblocks.

Or, what would it take to turn my 502s into 540s, or 572s?

Thanks

There is a local guy in my area that I ran into on a Poker Run. He had 900hp N/A single Dominator carbed engines in a Hustler w/surface drives. He owns a machine/engine shop and built the engines as a test bed for his customers. He has built several Blower mototrs for local guys that have lasted 7+ yrs with little problems. The 900's have proven to be very reliable thus far......

Beleive they were around 600 CID and ran Big Chief Heads, and cost about $40k each. Ran on 93 premium fuel. Very impressive. He had the boat to around 120 but was still playing with props on ASD 8's..........

Jack/Budah,

I'm still thinking of having you do those smaller cubed BBC's with the 420 B&M superchargers.
