Lab finishing the props would be a good idea and might add 1-2mph. John York at York Propeller in California does a good job for a very reasonable price. His number is 714-773-5444. Unless you do something with the engines the props are about the only thing you are going to possibly see any speed gains from. The general idea about nose cones is that they don't usually start working until you are well into the 80's---- but hey nose cones are pretty inexpensive and you could still try them.

Bottom blueprinting, boxes (perhaps), props, etc.
You should gain a few mph.
I would think you're right at the max with 500efi's.

i was thinkin since im turning up a little to high, what if i got 29p bravo1s labbed, or maybe some 5 five blades. think either of those would be good. and since im just at 80mph would the imco shorties make a diff or not? thanks in advance

Best way to get a speedo to read high is to hook a regulator and air line to the speedo hose. You then turn the regulator up till it takes the speedo about 5mph past its highest number (if it has a peg on the top of the scale then gently peg it). Then you repeatedly hit it with that air pressure on and off about a zillion times, this will stress the guts (Bourdon tube) of the speedo and it will not read higher than before. Take care not to stress it far enough to lift the needle much over 0 with no pressure, cause when that starts happening, it is close to screwing it up royally.
Big speedo pickup hole just really doesn't do much. I did it to everything I could get my hands on when I was a kid (trying to get a mega speed reading) and it was just an exercise in futility. It's a static pressure pickup, not dynamic. The concept is the same thing as replacing the speedo hose with water pipe.
As far as the Cig, it sounds like it is running dang good already.
Shorties may indeed help if you have no problems with prop slipping like it is now. Shorties and 5-blades maybe. I doubt 5-blades will add speed to your current setup without the shorties...
The free things don't need to be overlooked, though. Keep the water tank empty. Move all weight as far rearward as possible. If you have several tanks to chose from, use only the rearmost ones (keep belly empty). Run light on fuel...
