Rainbow vinyl lettering ??? Anyone know who can do this?
Looking to put the name of the boat down the sides in rainbow vinyl (rather large)
Anyone know of a good vinyl shop that has access to rainbow vinyl to pull off the wild colors?
Also looking to redo the label's of my boat (baja 280ES) in chrome lettering instead of the black
basically need leads on good vinyl cutters
thanks
Jason

Jason, I have friends in the industry and everything is done with computer. The vinyl is loaded into a machine like a printer that has a blade on it and it cuts out the lettering. So anyone should be able to do it as long as they have the equipment.

Plotter right?
I have the font style for what I want and have used Microsofts word art (in MS word) to tinker around with that and used paint shop pro to super impose the lettering on a pic of the boat
I like it but now I need to find someone that can do it
Anyone have any recommendations?

You have it Jay. It's easy now. Just go find a shop that does vinyl signs and they can do it for you no problem. Tell them the font and the size and you are all set. I know my buddy has access to all the wild colours but he's in Canada.

Oh please
first im not a homophob
second im out in a river or crushing waves offshore, some tinker dude on shore looks out, like I give a rats ass
who cares
they are entitled to their ways and stay out of mine
Second I worked with paint shop pro on this and the design with the right background just looks badass to me
Plus all the new boats coming out have some real wild colors and designs
on my limited budget, this was a relatively inexpensive way to get all the "wild colors" without dishing out mucho dinero on airbrushing and custom work and being without my boat for 2-3 months
This boat honestly is not worth that much -- I want it to look real bad ass but dont want to put crazy money in it that I wont be able to get back out of it
I realize it is a loosing investment but why dump thousands into paint and airbrushing on a 12 year old boat ?
It is my first boat to "get me out there" and have some fun on
my dream boat is not a 280 baja by any stretch of the imagination but as a first boat im happy and want it to be wild like the outerlimits or cig's
wont be as nice but it will have a wild side to it

Ya Jay post the pictures on line like in MSN or something and let us critique it. I know that a lot of very good ideas were given to some of the guys working on graffix on their new boats. Opps did I spell that wrong hehe. Up in smoke man
