The cam was not recommended by Crower.... it was a custom grind designed by my builder. It is the same cam he has been using for two years in his 29 Fountain with kick ass success (95 mph on gps).
Yeah, his boat is scary fast and he has to "drive" it thru the chine walk episodes. I don't want to ever be in that boat going that fast!! The thing is- It is sort of nice to have that kind of power even if you don't intend to try to break to sound barrier, so to speak.....
he estimates the power in the 650 range when done. Again, these designs are from his personal experience building his own race engines for his boats, race cars & fueler/funny cars.
