Default Help Finding Engine Hatch Air Intake Louvers

Does anyone know where we can get after market Air Intake Louvers that go on the front of the engine hatch for a 38 Scarab (any year between '98 - '03 will work). White in color. Prefer something other than the brittle stock plastic ones.

Better said, the louvers/air intake to the left and right of the handle you'd use to manually lift the engine hatch. Or, said another way, the louvers that the back of your head would hit if you leaned back while sitting in the back bench seat.

If anyone has any connections, please let me know either by replying to this link or e-mailing/ calling.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Magnum27,

Yep. That was my thought also. However, I was hoping someone had already done that and I could just order a pair from them.

Thanks,

Joe

Default scoops/louvers

Harwood makes all kinds of scoops for mounting on the sun pad deck. You can look them up on the web. I have buddies who have raised hatches themselves and have added custom made covers.

good luck

Griff, Thanks! I'll give them a call.

What else I found was K&N Flame Arrestors for 500 EFI's for $ 62.00 each. That's the best price I've ever seen!!!
