found the answer to my ? on another thread; Laser II. What pitch were you running on that big of a boat? My boat is only a 21'2", and I was only running about 57MPH speedo with a 350/260HP. Now I have a 350 MPI Mag and am trying to decide where to start. everyone has said to try my Ballistic 21p to start with, and go from there, which I will probably do. I would love to be able to push a labbed 23p Laser or Mirage though! I guess I'll find out in the spring.... thanks, J.

21 laser II worked by Houston top speed is about 54-55 gps at 4700 rpm my motor says 4400-4800 max rpm
boat weight 4000lbs beam 8'3" LOA 25' 4"
stock 1992 mag 270hp shaft listed prop hp of 250hp
mods include thur hull Corsa Q &Quiet, EMI manifolds
K&N air w/snub stack bumped timing
before prop and those mods

I turned a stilleto 21 p to 4400 rpm @ 49 mph
and the Laser II to 4500 49.5 gps

after those little mods and the prop work Im getting
54-55 gps 4700 rpm

like I said my boat really needs a bravo BB combo
because of its weight

I looked at an old post of yours before you did your mods. Looks like the work you did worked out well for you. You must not have had any probs with the Alpha drive like everyone was thinking you might? Thanks again for the info. j.
