Drive stripping update
I decided to glass bead my drive lowers as the paint stripper was useless, and sanding just plain sucks!
Since I welded new skegs on, I thought it best to tear them apart and replace the seals as I didn't want to worry about the seals from the heat. I made the retainer nut socket today. It worked great! Nut came right out. Also made a puller for the bearing carriage. It work, but took some time. I think that I should be able to reinstall everything and be fine as far as shimming, cause nothing should change. ??
1 drive down, 1 to go!

You asked in your other thread about preping for paint. Alluminum will start to corrode in 30 min so you need to get it to paint quick. A good scotch bright just before you go in for paint should do fine.
