Sliding Door Tracks
Does anyone know were I can get tracks for a sliding door like they have in the top guns and Fountains? I am thinking about trying to do something like this on my boat.

Jon, I replaced the rollers on the '89 Bullet in '02. Tres found them for me. I had to do some modifications to make them fit but the end result was mint. It took a while to get them but was worth the wait. Stan.

Was not aware that Fountain used sliding doors. Maybe it's just the big ones. Just seen the 3 peice hinged doors.
Have you tried McMasterCarr? Not sure if they would be SS though.

AUdiofn,
Try Spartech Marine, or Verplex (I think they are sister companies) They make the cabinway doors for Black Thunder and others. They also make windshields. The rails in which the doors slide, are a plastic/vinyl u shaped piece. I believe they are located in Melbourne FL. If you cannot locate dthem, e mail me and I'll find their number. They recently made me another set of side windshields and a cabin door.
Good luck,
Steve

Audiofn, Another option would be a rollup door. Stinson was putting one in an Apache when I stopped by his shop on Friday. He had taken out the sliding door, because of dash changes.

THE BEST THINGS FOR SLIDING DOOR TRACKS ARE THE TRACKS USED ON SAILBOATS FOR THE TRAVELERS, YOU CAN GET THEM AT ANY MARINE SUPPLY HOUSE, THE PART THAT SLIDES ON THE TRACK CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH DELRIN BEARINGS AND CAN HANDLE 2500 POUNDS OR MORE IN WEIGHT, THE TRACKS ARE HARD ANODIZED ALUMINUM AND THE TRAVELERS ARE S/S OR ALUMINUM .SOME HAVE SPRING LOADED PINS TO LOCK IT IN ANY POSITION.
