BBC L-29 vortech heads price??
 

I have a couple of sets of these heads, large oval ports vortec heads, p/n 10141280, casting 10141279, they have 230cc intake ports, 2.065 intakes and 1.72 exh. valves. They have exactly 90 hrs. on them. Any ideas what these are worth on the market?

Dave, I called around a few months back. The salvage yards all said around $300 for a set. Saw a set advertised for sale with the cam, lifters, rockers and rods for $650. To my knowledge, those did not sell. Another member bought a set last season for either $250 or 350, don't remember which.

Maybe someone else has a better idea, but if you decide to sell, let me know. I think I have a pair bought, but not for sure.

I need a set of heads for my Mark 4 motor. Does anyone know if these Gen6 heads will fit Mark 4 block. If they would fit i would be interested in them. Call me to discuss 954.232.4139

Yes, I do believe they will bolt up.
You just need to buy the right head gasket.
There may be a problem with your accessory brackets though. The tapped holes in the Gen 6 heads are larger.

I believe your right that these will fit. The accesories should not be a problem.

I only have an alternator bracket and i'm sure i could find one that would fit.

hey guys, i've got a set of rec port heads off of a 2000 502mag (415hp) with less than 50hrs on them sitting in my garage, if anyone is intersted. they are complete except for rocker arm studs, freshwater only, VERY clean. the casting # is 14097088
