I need two carb boxes for my boat.Will a high quality homade box pass coast gaurd?Thanks

If the box is fully sealed (brass fittings on box for hoses to connect on both sides and seals on throttle linkage passthru) and has double clamps on any flexible hose, does NOT have a backfire valve, and has a double screen on the intake (wherever it ends up being) then they probably won't hassle you.
No guarantees, though. If it ain't stamped, they can write you if they want to.
