You can buy needle bearings for standard gear sets(Torrington), but not XR or X gears (believe it or not).On standard gear sets IKO bearings makes a nice non-full compliment bearing(caged needle).When it comes to tapered bearings (cup and cone) always use Timken and not Jap. bearings. They can't seem as much of a load. When there, done it.
