Aero, BGIII just sold his. Had it for several seasons. He lives in Hudsonville, so he's local if you want to ask him about it. I've run along side of him, and his boat handles pretty well. The only real downside I see with the 250 is the relatively low freeboard when compared to some other boats (like my 24 Outlaw). Bill, who is a bit taller than I am, always sat down to drive.

I just bought a 91 270 which is the same boat. The beam is 8' and it has a 24 degree deadrise with plenty of freeboard, every bit as much as an outlaw. Foul are you thinking of a 240?(22 degree, low freeboard) The boat is big enough to document with the coast guard also 26'9" X 8' X 5' makes it 5 tons of displacement which makes it a lot cheaper to register.

Actually tflb, no.... tied up next to BGIII, my boat is about a foot or so taller at the helm. Standing at the helm of his boat, I towered above the windshield.... I don't on mine, and I have a shorter windshield. His was a 250 ES, same bottom as my outlaw for the most part, with a molded on swim deck. The freeboard at the transom was different on both our boats too... mine being taller.
