The k-eickert remote oil thermostat opens at 215 degrees
directing oil to your cooler. It is a nice unit. I have one for sale with 10 hours on it. I went to a different set up on my new motor. If interested pm me.

Like Macdad said, I'm running about 450 hp or so thru a 3x12 cooler (EMI unit with built in power steering cooler, total length of unit is over 16") and I have no problem getting my oil up to temp. I can run WFO for quite a while without ever getting over 230 degrees. It will get to 200+ in a couple of minutes on plane.

Do any of you guys want to sell your old stock oil coolers? My 6.2 does not have a cooler so I think a stock one would work fine for my application, Thanks Dwight
