High RPM's On 500 EFI???
The last time we ran our boat I noticed one of the tachs reading close to 6k at full throttle.
I took the boat to get checked out and they ran it with a scan tool and got 5800 rpm's.
They changed the ECU, distributer module, ignition box and spark plug wires and it did not fix the problem. They are waiting for a call from Mercury.
Anybody have any ideas why the rev limiter is not working???
