Re-plumbing for center rise manifolds?
Motor is 1982 454/330 TRS, standard (raw-water) cooling. Just switched to center-rise manifolds from old log-style. Using two hoses per side, one to riser, one to bottom of manifold.
Problem is...the new thermostat housing has the inlet (lower) fitting on the opposite (port) side. The books indicate a second oil-cooler on the port side of the motor, which is where the inlet hose goes (after running through the oil-cooler on the starboard side).
My motor only has one cooler, on the starboard side...opposite of the aforementioned inlet.
Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to get the inlet hose to the opposite side of the motor?
Thanks in advance,

If you have a singe cooler then it goes on the port side of the motor. There is a single hose that goes from the raw water pump to the cooler, then from the cooler to the T-stat housing.
