My bunks are staining my hull, need to replace. I have heard to stay away from treated for this reason. Any thoughts?

Everyone here seems to swear by treated.

Thanks

I used treated 2X6`s on my trailer and boat lift. Do your bunks have carpet on them?

It may be rusty staples then, not sure really. I need to fix it though, I thought it may be the PT seeping through or something.

It was buggin the shiz out of me last year, stains on the hull while on plane right where the bunks would rest. I put the boat on a stand and waxed the crap out of it this spring to remove them.

Now they are back.
