How many quarts of drive oil does a #6 hold?

The drysump is just over 4 qts, after a filter change (the nose cone holds over 1/2 qt). The wetsump holds over 4 gallons, without a spacer. Does that help?

$ gallons Sounds like a drysump motor on a race car ,Just dont have to change the drive oil every race.

I was supprised today when I changed gear lube in
my 3# today, 10 qts. each.

4-5 galloons is correct on a #6. Thank you

an additional question to the #6 drive,how often(hrs)should i remove the drive and lube the u joints?i have 40 hrs from last year only.

I usually recommend once a season or every 50-100 hrs, which ever comes first. The main reason for the once a season is to see if there is any water in the bellows. It's also about the right schedule to put some of the proper lube on the driveline slip splines.
