Hydraulic Steering Hose Routing

While looking at the hose installation I noticed that several of the hoses from the helm unit drop down between the hull and liner of the boat about a foot and then angle back up as they run back to the engine compartment.

Is this acceptable and will the air still bleed out of the system?

I would not worry about that. Those systems work on such a high pressure, they will bleed out quickly..
