Question Single wire Alternator

Alright, can anyone tell me how to wire a "single Wire" Alternator ? I got one with my new motor and would like to wire it in, which wire do you connect and what do you need to do with the rest ? Thanks

one wire between the battery and the alternator, then a wire from the starter to either the battery or the alternator. you can hook you guage to the same wire that runs between the alternator and the battery.

If you have a 4 wire harness, just use the large orange wire. This connects the alternator to starter, the starter is wired to the battery. The black wire can be grounded to the block. The red and purple wires are not used.

Dont connect the red to the orange. This will bypass the push button breaker in the system.
